I am aware that just having a good voice is not enough to penetrate the voice over business, but I am intrested in giving it a try. I hope these training sessions will be the key to a new and exciting career.

Either a person has the potential for the Voice Over industry or he/she doesn’t. – period! Example: If you can hit a baseball at 90 miles per hour, whydo you need a batting coach?

If a person can read a script in various pace speeds. Meaning slow, medium and fast with the articulation of emotions, why does a person need voice over lessons?

Giving lessons sounds like a way to make extra money for seasoned voice-over professionals. However, that’s one man’s opinion.

    Sa, Spader

      Hi Sam!

      I appreciate your comments!

Joe Mauer, who plays for my Minnesota Twins can hit a 90 m.p.h. fast ball and guess what? He also has a batting coach. There are always ways to keep improving your skills no matter what the profession is.

Just because a person can read at various speeds, doesn’t mean he/she can automatically do voiceovers. Our goal is to provide the best tools and training possible to assist those who are hungry enough to get into the business. And it all starts with script delivery. Again, we do appreciate your honest comments. :-)

      Cheers,

      Terry Daniel

I do not live in your area, what about online training via skype? and is it as effective?

      Terry Daniel @ 2:47 pm

      Hi Jerry,

Thanks for the question. Skype works great for coaching. That is my primary preference. It is far more interactive and the audio sounds a lot better. I record the coaching sessions as well and then provide you with an mp3 of the session. I’ll be available next week, if you would like to discuss. Thanks again and Happy New Year!

Thanks Terry I have learned a lot from your training. I come from a twenty years in the construction industry, and the last four years I have been with a local radio station. This information has helped me to advance at the station and I believe I will be making money from home soon.
    Thanks again Terry!

    Michael C. Erdmann @ 1:13 pm

Hi my name is Mike, I have been out off the “broadcast” industry” for roughly 16 years. I was an On-Air personality, as well as doing voiceovers for a local TV station in central Wisconsin in the early ’90′s. I never lost sight of someday using my voice again. I’m very interested in your course. I have very little to work with. What do I need to complete the course. What type of microphone, CD’s for auditions? Anyhing else you can tell me would be useful.

    Thanks,
    Mike Erdmann

The program sounds good, but what will my total cost be?

    • March 21,2013
      VOC @ 8:18 am

Good question. There are no hidden fees for Voice Over Club. After your $1 3 day trial, it’s only $29.95 per month until you cancel. That’s less than a dollar a day for the best online voice over training anywhere! :)

Hi Terry! I’ve been watching the modules with great enthusiasm & taking notes (as every good student should!). Now I would really like to start getting serious & down to the nitty gritty! I also have a full-time job in the medical field ( perfect to read medical copy!) & a very strange schedule. How do you arrange your training sessions & what time is good for you? We’ll have to discuss that at some point. I did call in for my free eval & waiting patiently.

    Thanks a lot,
    Marc Vazquez

      Hi Marc,

Happy to hear you want to get serious about voiceovers! Send me an email at coaching@voiceoverclub.com and I’ll be happy to contact you. Thank you for the reads too. We can talk about those and other aspects of the industry. :-)

I just ran across your website and not sure where to get started. I saw a class in LLU.com for $50, but, I don’t have a job at the moment, so, I was hoping to learn more about the industry before I make the investment. What do you suggest? I have a very strong voice and speak fluent Spanish and a little French and Czech.

      Terry Daniel @ 11:53 am

      Hi Malinda,

    James Chamak @ 10:44 pm

    Hi,
Although I joined about a week ago, I’m just getting started looking at these Modules, as I haven’t had much time lately.

I’m also currently considering & reviewing web hosting sites.

Any suggestions, pros, cons, articles, etc. in this regard for a potential voice over web site?

As a professional musician & singer, I may even combine it into a voice over & jingle site down the road a ways.

Open to any ideas at this formative stage, without any commitments made just yet.

    Thank you,

    James

      Hi James!

Thank you for being a member of Voice Over Club! Host Gator and Go Daddy would be a good start for web hosting sites but if you need help putting together a user friendly site, we can help you with that as well.
